May 1997 Dear Reader: A fast and busy two years have come and gone, with many activities and accomplishments. What a great honor to serve as your president ! September 3-6, 1997 The Federation of Genealogical Societies & The Dallas Genealogical Society annual conference will be at the Hyatt Regency at Reunion in Dallas. This plans to be the largest event of it's type ever held locally. Over 120 courses offered, including society management, genealogy topics for beginner to novice, and "Step back in time" a special event Saturday night at Old City Park Volunteer to help with this big event.
